Father Postpartum Support Group
Weekly support for dads facing the real and unexpected parts of parenthood
Wednesdays at 8 PM | Starting July 2 Duration: 60–90 minutes | Led by Michael Neuman, LCSW $20 per session | Confidential Zoom group Fatherhood can be an incredibly meaningful experience—but it often comes with invisible weight. Whether you’re supporting a partner through a high-risk pregnancy, adjusting to life after birth, or simply trying to stay strong for everyone else, the emotional toll is real. This weekly Zoom group offers a safe, confidential space to speak openly about the emotional and practical challenges of new fatherhood. Led by a licensed therapist—and a father who’s been through it—I bring both professional tools and personal empathy to help guide the group. Each session starts with a check-in, then moves into real conversations about stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and how to cope. I introduce the topic, but the group leads the way—offering honest support, shared strategies, and the reminder that you’re not alone. Topics may include: - Adjusting to new routines under stress - Communicating with your partner - Changes in intimacy and connection - Sleep deprivation and mental fog - Coping with isolation and lack of support - Financial stress and the pressure to provide - Navigating NICU stays and high-risk pregnancies - Supporting your partner emotionally and medically - Shifting roles and family dynamics - Processing emotions—it’s okay to feel and be seen You don’t have to stay silent. Your mental health matters, too.
